Elegant age girls from Manhattan and Beverly Hills

New York-based photographer Tirza Brott chose women of elegant age from Manhattan and Beverly Hills as the main subject of her Pentimento project. At first, the author was inspired by the idea of vanity and fading youth, but then she discovered that there was something else in the older women she met - something more subtle and incomprehensible. Gradually, Brott began to treat her models as works of art: peering into these faces, one could see what these women were once upon a time, at different stages of their lives.
