The second experiment involved 33 people. They slept in masks and at the same time used devices to determine the intensity of light and measure brain activity. After that, they were also waiting for a test with pairs of words. Both experiences have shown that using a sleep mask helps to better recall old information and assimilate new ones. The mask also increases the slow sleep phase, which has a positive effect on improving memory.
