Cool films that aren't mainstream

The world of cinema is an ocean. Nobody has seen all the films, and nobody will ever see them all. Critics have been working for years, trying to see as many films as possible, but they never come close to the coveted figure. While major films are shown in theaters, most films are not. It is up to us to find them.

Today we collect as many little-known, exceptional contemporary films as we can, in the hope of introducing something new to people in these quarantine times. Trust the list. These are some of the coolest films that never hit the mainstream.

2. Morvern Kallar.

Morton as one woman is the title character in director Lynn Ramsey's drama about sleep. Waking up to her boyfriend's suicide, Morvern Kallar (Morton) takes the opportunity to essentially become a different person.

3. Guest.

Dan Stevens is wildly unpredictable in "Guest," like "David," a former soldier who stops outside the family home of one of his fallen comrades to pay his respects. But David holds great secrets, and while his sexy smile inspires a lot of confidence, his true nature is beginning to reveal itself. He's amazingly cruel, beats up high school students who give the family trouble, but he doesn't stop there.

4. Kumiko, the treasure hunter.

A magnificent, curious film by David Zellner - the original. It is based on a strange premise - a lonely Japanese woman believes that the Fargo movie is real and decides to go to America and look for a bag of money in cold Minnesota.

5. Her smell.

Elisabeth Moss is the self-destructive punk rock star who drives everyone crazy.

6. The Fall of Western Civilization 2: The Year of Metal.

Yes, this is a photo of Kiss guitarist Paul Stanley doing interviews in bed with three girls in their underwear. This is just a part of the amazing film directed by Penelope Spheris.

7. First love.

Another very cool, whimsical path into the world of violence, which resembles films such as "Pulp Fiction" and "Kill Bill".

8. Impurity.

Films like Impurity are so rare that they need to be accepted. Understanding is not always key. Sometimes the most valuable thing is the experience of the film.
