Rutger ten Broek (Rutger ten Broeke) is a key figure in the world of photography in the Netherlands and in artistic and commercial terms.
Born in 1944 in Arnhem. Professionally works as a photographer since 1968. Starting with the genre of fashion, shooting for international magazines. His work has been published and presented at numerous exhibitions in the Netherlands, Japan, USA, France, Germany and other countries.

In the period of study at the famous Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam ten brook founded his own company RTB Photography. In 1984 organized the first of its kind in the Netherlands, the Biennale in Enschede.
In 1985 he founded one of the first Dutch galleries specializing in photography. Many years devoted to teaching, taught several generations of photographers have professorschool at the Academy of arts and industry in Enschede.
