By Vika https://mail.pictolic.com/article/chocolate-worlds.htmlRemember how we wrote about the architect Dinara Casco, who embodied the talent of an architect in her culinary masterpieces. It seems that architecture and cooking are closely related. Maria from Moscow is also an architect who took a culinary path without forgetting her architectural skills. Maria is currently studying at the School National Of Architecture De Paris Malaquais.
For more than three years, Maria has been creating architectural cakes. An architect's education allowed Maria to come up with complex ideas, draw a sketch of the future cake and create a shape for a culinary masterpiece. This is the primary work followed by composition and flavor work, resulting in an amazing cake.
“For me, cakes are art objects,” says Maria. “I am inspired by architecture and architects. My favorite masters are Frank Gehry, Le Corbusier, Antonio Gaudi, Jorn Utzon. I'm inspired by architecture, artists, cities, materials, and textures. I especially love painting chocolate panoramas and creating my own chocolate cities. Now I am the chief chef of a Moscow bakery and devote more time to her. And I am very happy that I managed to make cakes for some famous Moscow architects. In the future, I want to open my own pastry shop in Paris, where architects, architecture students, and artists will gather. "
