Black belt in beauty: 17-year-old Daria Beloded from Ukraine became the world champion in judo

Daria Beloded from Kiev won a gold medal at the World Judo Championships, thus becoming the youngest (the girl is only 17 years old!) a champion in the history of this sport. Before her, a similar record was set by a representative of Japan: at the time of the competition, she was fully 18 years old. It is worth noting that Daria Beloded is distinguished not only by her physical abilities, but also by her incredible appearance — a young Ukrainian woman could well become a model.

The World Judo Championship started on September 20 in Baku. 800 judoists from different countries of the world take part in the competitions in the capital of Azerbaijan, which will last until September 27. There are 309 women and 491 men among them.

Several weight categories participate in the competition. Daria Beloded managed to win the smallest of them — "women up to 48 kg".

Daria was born into a family of famous athletes — Svetlana Kuznetsova and Gennady Beloded, who also devoted their lives to judo. From the age of 6, the girl began her acquaintance with this sport — as a child, Dasha came to classes with her mother, who led a judo circle for other guys.

Mom always wanted Daria to do rhythmic gymnastics and even enrolled her daughter with a famous coach Oksana Gutzeit. When Oksana stopped studying and went on television, the girl was so upset that she refused to take gymnastics lessons from other coaches. After that, Dasha began to spend even more time with her mother in the gym, until she finally fell in love with judo.

Now Daria has won many state, continental, and now world-class championships.  About the last competition, which brought Dasha wide fame, she says the following:

Daria treats her mother with special trepidation, calling her her "personal talisman". Before each fight, the girl kisses and hugs her mother for a long time, believing that this "ritual" can bring her victory. Well, it looks like it really works, because now Dasha is not just the best judoka in Ukraine, but the world champion, the youngest in the history of this sport.

It is worth noting that Daria was the first among women to bring Ukraine a gold medal in this sport.

But not only did this young woman surprise the audience with her outstanding athletic abilities. Daria Beloded also has a refined, model-like appearance, a slender figure and a special charm, which is difficult not to pay attention to.

Many fans are already predicting Daria's victory at the Olympics, but the athlete is silent about her plans in this regard.
