I want to capture everything around me: as if a statement of what was around us then, evidence of the atmosphere of our youth, the beauty of our closeness. I like the idea that one day my photo book can be found in an old library. Someone will take it off the shelf, blow on the cover to shake off the dust, open it up and be able to feel what it's like to be young and alive in my time.

6. Lara started taking photographs at the age of fourteen, when her father's friend, photographer Thomas Chable, presented an analog camera. In the beginning, she just took pictures of everything around her, trying to document her childhood, to capture every moment.

9. She graduated from the Saint-Luc High School of Art with a degree in photography. It was an extensive course in the history and aesthetics of images. Lara also mastered the academic style of painting but did not become an artist.
