"Be patient with photos": a professional photographer reveals the secret of perfect shots
Professional photographers are often so trained that their pictures look as if made in a minute and effortlessly. But anyone who knows even a little about photography knows how much time, preparation, skill, luck and patience it takes for one shot.
Dutch photographer albert Dros, whose work has been published in Time, National Geographic and The Huffington Post, known for his incredible landscape pictures. He recently decided to share the secret that is used when shooting their best photo.
Albert Dros I'm sure that when it comes to photography, the most important thing is patience. For some impressive photos, for example photos of fields of tulips, it took years of waiting. More specifically, the photographer waited for the perfect combination of sunrise and fog over the tulips three years. And although the image came out not quite the way it was presented by the author, it really deserves attention.
Perfect sunset
Only one week a year the sun sets right in the middle of this arch of the Amsterdam canal. After two years and five attempts albert Dros finally got what you wanted.
Windmills in the fog
Albert Dros for a long time wanted to photograph the historic windmills of the Zaanse Schans. But the right weather conditions did not even think to come to the aid of the photographer. He had to work hard to catch a good shot.
The milky way with a few additions
"I spent many nights getting up at three in the morning to take pictures like this. Sometimes you need a bit of luck. In the Netherlands it is difficult to do night photography because the light is heavily polluted, and when our weather is never clean of clouds. It took me ten attempts to get this shot".
