His miniature works decorate dollhouses, and Aaron also makes amazingly beautiful jewelry in the form of realistic micro-dishes.

Despite the fact that all these tiny dishes are made from completely inedible materials - polymer clay, paint and glue - you may well get an appetite while viewing the post.

Aaron Shay lives in Israel and works in a center for adults and children with disabilities.

As Aaron himself says, he has always been a creative person, experimenting a lot with different materials. In 2004, he discovered the possibilities of polymer clay and immediately fell in love with this amazing material.

Before Aaron started making miniature food, he had made hundreds of millifiori beads, but many other artists were doing it, so it was time for him to move on to something new.

He was inspired to create the culinary miniature by his older sisters, who taught him the art of understanding what women like. Since then, Aaron has been making miniature food for dollhouses and making jewelry with mini food.

Aaron sells his work on the online auction site Etsy.

There is a lot of inspiration for making miniature food around. The D. Oliver show, magazines, clippings and cookbooks.

In addition to polymer clay, Aaron uses paints, metal parts, epoxy resin for his work and is constantly looking for items that can be useful in his work.
