"It's a hobby that I cherish and enjoy, and I want other people to see what I've been through. I will never give up hunting. I am a hunter, and no matter what anyone says, I will never stop doing it," the girl said.

Her father Eli said in an interview with a TV program that the giraffe that his daughter killed was a "problematic" animal in the area and "ate valuable resources that other giraffes need to survive." He added that the meat of the slaughtered animal helped feed 800 orphans in a local settlement in South Africa. "I don't teach anyone how to raise children. We are proud to be hunters, and we will never apologize for that," Eli stressed.
