1. Triumphal arch, decorated with a chariot and sculpture by Niki, the Greek goddess of Victory, stands on Kutuzovskaya Avenue in Moscow and is the next "reincarnation" of other arches, dedicated to the 18th decree of Nikol. The emperor wanted to have a memorial arch in Moscow in honor of the victory of the Russian people in the Patriotic War of 1812 against Napoleonic France - similar to what was built in St. Petersburg that year. The first triumphal arch was a wooden one. Then he was replaced by a stone. But in 1936 the arch was dismantled in connection with the change of the general plan of the city. Cast iron gates stood on the town square for several years, until they were replanted by the Soviet Army during the Great Patriotic War. In the ninth century, the arch was restored in 1966-1968. 150 sculptures were removed for him and 12 new ones for the column.

3. The arch on the Palace Square in the center of St. Petersburg is part of the building of the Main Headquarters: for a long time, its 580-meter facade was considered one of the longest in Europe. The arch was designed for the whole building and was intended to commemorate the victory in the war of 1812. Its bas-reliefs are made of the blinds of military trophies, on the sides are placed statues of ancient soldiers and a chariot with the goddess Nike on the top. The architect who designed it, Carlo Rossi, an Italian by origin, considered the arch to be the dominant building of the General Staff and today it is one of the city's attractions.
