1. Do not take pictures of the utility system before repair.

Before you hide all the wires and other systems behind the walls, you should mark them on the plan, or at least take a picture of the wall: this will allow you to know where they are so that you do not damage them when installing the shelf.

2. Placement of the light switch.

If you put the light switch too high, the kids will have to jump to get to it, and if you put it near the door hinges, you will have to walk a lot in the dark. The best place is on the side of the door handle. In the bedroom, you should have 2 switches, one at the entrance and one near the bed, so you don't have to go from one to the other end of the room before going to sleep. 5. Soundproofing.

Plastic pipes have one serious drawback: the sound resonates too well in them and reveals everything that your neighbors are doing in the bathroom. Therefore, the pipes of this room should be wrapped in soundproof material.
