The pictures for this issue dedicated to Hollywood and the best actors of the year were taken by photographer Jack Davison. After many hours of watching films released in the outgoing year, the film critics of the magazine A. O. Scott and Wesley Morris chose 10 actors for this issue.
These are Adam Driver, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Lopez, Elisabeth Moss, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Lupita Nyong'o, Julianne Moore, Antonio Banderas and Robert De Niro. They were captured by photographer Jack Davison in a peculiar style.
