Marina Ekroos wanted to get people to think to think about what they eat. Food is not only taste and nutrition. Cooking combines many processes that affect the final result. Expanding the recipes into individual steps the photographer showed how many stages is the food and what it consists of meals.
The project started in 2009. The first photo was of the recipe of cinnamon rolls. The series slowly evolved into a book, published in Finland in 2012 and Taiwan in 2016. The book does not contain accurate recipes. It is the link between the world of art and gastronomy.

All 62 photos from the book was created by Marina on their own. This means that the first she learned to cook, and then took pictures. All the food in the photos are not processed. After shooting all the products went to food, but not in the trash, as is often the case in food photography. Food ingredients from the photo, Marina ate with friends.
