As two old ladies from China four days survived in the stalled Elevator and got out
In China, XI'an (Shaanxi province) two elderly women spent four days and three nights without food and water trapped in the Elevator of a 4-storey private house. All the rest of the family left, the help came only 96 hours later.
The main danger that threatens women — dehydration. To survive, they were forced to drink their own urine (known survival strategy).
In the end, a captive of the Elevator were able to push the doors so widely that the younger was able to get outside and call for help. Rescuers brought mother and daughter to a local hospital, where they were a few days was discharged in good health.
After discharge from the hospital the mother and daughter first attended to the installation of the Elevator emergency button.
