A 20-year-old goldfish could have died from a tumor, but she got the best owners in the world
One family noticed that their 20-year-old goldfish had a tumor on its fin. The pet was taken to Dr. Faye Bethell, a well-known veterinarian. She operated on Bob and saved him. How is this possible? It's just that people really love their pet.

It took a veterinarian from Norfolk 30 minutes to remove the tumor. The operation cost $250.
"There was a choice: either to remove the tumor, or to put him to sleep. Now he feels great," says the veterinarian.
"Bob's owners were very pleased because the goldfish is older than their children, and the pet is considered a full member of the family."
The veterinarian used a miniature heart rate sensor, gave the fish anesthesia and performed surgery with microsurgical instruments.
"It's quite difficult because everything is very small."
She added: "It was the oldest fish we operated on... Bob is now at home and is already swimming normally for the first time in several weeks."
Dr. Bethell emphasized: "Pets have begun to live longer. It's great when you meet the owners who want to save them. It's nice to help them."
