Did you know that even before Bill Murray and Groundhog Day a thousand years ago, the Romans celebrated a very similar holiday? However, there were several differences: not marmots, but hedgehogs ran out of their burrows and looked at the shadow in the light of the moon in the dead of night. And if the hedgehogs saw their shadow, it meant that there were 6 weeks left until the end of winter.
While everyone is touched by marmots, we suggest celebrating Hedgehog Day with us.
